Come celebrate Toledo’s Historic Old West End June 4th & 5th 10am-5pm.

The 40th Annual Old West End Festival provides lots of food, fun, and entertainment for the whole family! This year, enjoy all that the Old West End has to offer with lots of food, a beer garden, as well as an art fair. Five homes will be featured this year for the Historic Home and Mansion Tours:

Reynolds Secor Home Mansion View and Inn at 2035 Collingwood Blvd.

Built in 1887, Reynolds Secor Home Mansion View Inn includes Italian marble, hand carved 13′ ceilings and stained glass.

Allen/Devilbiss-David Home at 3015 Collingwood Blvd

Built in 1902, Allen/DeVilbiss-Davis Home has leaded Tiffany stained glass, and barrel-vaulted carved plaster ceilings.

Overmyer-Youngman Home 2061 Robin Wood Ave.

Built in 1903, Overmyer-Youngman Home has 6 bedrooms, 4 baths, egg & dart moldings, quarter-sawn oak panels and pocket doors, and stained and leaded glass accents.

Anthony J. Gallagher House 2737 Robinwood Ave.

An Arts and Crafts style home 1913, Anthony J. Gallagher house  features themed stained glass windows, and examples of terrazzo tile.

Clement-Fitch Home 2461 Glenwood Ave.

Built in 1902 and designed by David L. Stine, a famed architect.  Clement-Fitch Home features a sweeping grand staircase, bay windows, and multiple columns on the porch.

Kicking off the weekend will be the King Wamba Carnival Parade Saturday at 10am. Vind Devers Autohaus of Sylvania will be sponsoring the Antique Car Show on Saturday. Sunday morning, there is a 5k run/walk sponsored by both the Old West End and the Toledo Symphony. Musical groups from the Toledo Symphony will be at various locations during the 5k run/walk to entertain the participants.

This eclectic Queen Anne, located at 333 W Wooster in Bowling Green, Ohio, sits in Boomtown Historic District within walking distance of downtown where restaurants and shops await you. According to the Ohio Historic Inventory, this home was built for Albert Royce in 1896. Mr. Royce started as a grocery merchant and then organized the banking firm of Royce, Smith and Coon. It is clapboard shingle and one of the striking exterior features is the large sash bay window flanked by two narrow double hung windows and a leaded stained glass transom in the front. Recent updates and renovations include a generous eat-in kitchen with ceramic tile floor, all appliances, natural woodwork, leaded stained glass windows and fireplaces.
