Valerie Suelzer, Director of Technology at The Danberry Company presented their strategy for continued growth in 2010 and beyond at the Annual Network Enterprise Conference in Denver, CO September 21-24th. After one year of being a member of The Active Enterprise Network, Danberry has made several enhancements to their website that resulted in a 35% increase in online visitors. Not only did changes to their site lead to an increase in traffic, but the internal structure of the company allowed Danberry to have a strong support system for implementing these changes.
One major focus of Valerie’s presentation was their use of the market update reports. “So often agents hear the question “How is the market?”. Rather than give commentary on the market as a whole, agents are able to provide their friends, family and clients with a monthly report which tells them how the market is around THEIR home”, said Suelzer.
These automated reports will arrive via email at set schedules. This allows an agent to keep their customer up-to-date with the latest market conditions which has helped in managing customer expectations and acting as a tool to stay in touch with current, past and potential clients.
“Many times, the agent will only enter a radius search around their friend or client’s home. Even if people are not looking to buy or sell right now, they still want to know what the house across the street sold for. At the moment, we have about 1,800 people in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan receiving the Market Update reports”, Suelzer states.


Customers don’t want to sift through data that isn’t relevant to them, but through these reports you’re able to target specific neighborhoods that are customized to meet each individual client’s needs.
